There are 5 carpet cleaning methods that companies use

You have many choices when it comes time to choose a carpet-cleaning service for your business or residence home page. However, not all companies will use the same techniques.

You can choose from a wide range of carpet cleaners on the market.

Hot Water Extraction Cleaning

Hot water extraction (also known as steam cleaning and hot water agitation) uses high-pressured, hot water to dissolve dirt.

Hot water extraction involves cleaning the affected area with a cleaning agent and brushing. After a short period of time, the carpet is “washed” by carpet cleaning machines.

It takes approximately two hours to wash a 3000 square foot carpeted office and four hours or more to dry. The majority of companies suggest that carpets should be cleaned late in afternoon to allow them to dry overnight so the office can operate normally the next day.

Carpet Cleaning

Encapsulation was first popularized in 1970. Even though shampooing seems like an effective way to remove heavily-soiled carpets from the home, its drawbacks are that it can take a lot of time for the foam to disappear, cause carpets to become sticky and re-soil quickly.

Foam Encapsulation utilizes synthetic detergents to produce a foam base. When the foam is dried, it becomes powder. As the cleaning soap dries, the dirt within the carpet fibers turns into powder.

Foam Encapsulation has replaced carpet shampooing due to its use of less water. This results in a quicker drying time compared to carpet shampooing. Foam-encapsulation was praised as an environmentally friendly product by those who support the use.

Due to limitations in technology, despite the good results of this technique for cleaning carpets with heavy dirt, it cannot clean them completely.

Bonnet Cleaning

The carpets can be cleaned by using motorized machines, which use spinning pads that are immersed with cleaning solution.

In hotels bonneting is very popular, as it’s a great way to quickly clean carpets that are in high traffic areas. The carpets have to be thoroughly cleaned, but without causing excessive moisture. They must also be dried quickly to prevent inconvenience to hotel customers.

Bonneting doesn’t provide deep cleaning, and so the dirt that was on the carpet surface would return to the surface in a relatively short time. It is not a deep cleaning method, so the carpets are muddy again in a short time. The spinning pads and pressure of the machine can push chemical residues deep into the carpet.

Dry Carpet Clean

The dry carpeting or compound cleaning technique is the latest cleaning technique to hit the market. It is becoming more popular among carpet manufacturers, due to its ease of usage and effectiveness.
